As the recruiter for Monarch Beverage, I recruit and attract top talent to enter into our Sales, Transportation and Administrative positions within the company. Throughout the year, I focus on college recruiting for our Beer Careers program, which gives top students the opportunity to be placed in a rotational program and gives them exposure to our suppliers and the distribution side of the industry. Most recently, I have worked to develop a Driver in Training program for those interested in becoming a driver and obtaining their CDL Class A to potentially move up throughout the operations side of the business. I also initiated a women’s group at Monarch that provides a network that empowers women within our company and industry to grow and excel within their career.
I am an alumni of the Hoosier Fellows program, through the Tobias Center for Leadership Excellence with Indiana University.
I serve on the Board of Directors at Ball State University for the FCS Alumni Society. We work to develop and provide opportunities for students and alumni to connect and network together as well has improve our programs in the Department. I also serve as an Advisory Board Member for Career Services at Kelley School of Business at IUPUI. I am a member of the Mentoring Women’s Network and was accepted into Project Lead. I currently work on the Communications Committee which is a nationwide committee dedicated to advancing women leaders by providing content for those in Project Lead through blogs, videos, articles and more.
I am the writer for Fearless Female, a thought provoking, empowering blog for females in the workplace. My main focus is on young professional females in their first 5-10 years in their profession.
