Founder and Chief Mentoring Officer
With impressive background work and roughly 20 years in nonprofit work, Alison Martin has a passion for doing work that makes a difference in the lives of others. After serving as Executive Director at two different national nonprofit organizations, her commitment to her passion for developing female talent led her to launch Pass the Torch for Women Foundation.
Her work in developing the mentoring program for the foundation led to the development of Diverse Talent Strategies. In her role with Diverse Talent Strategies, Martin consults with organizations on the development and strategy aligned with developing or enhancing a mentoring program, as well as talent sourcing candidates.
She is also the author of the book, “Learning to Lead Through Mentoring”
published in 2013 and re-released in 2016.
